IDENTITY

The Isla Vista Church Fall Quarter Internship is a 7 week relational internship program designed to facilitate growing in the fullness of Jesus with other believers.

WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE

• A typical week involves a Thursday 4-7pm intern huddle group where we equip and train, discuss what we’re learning, and sometimes eat a meal together.
  

WHAT TO EXPECT

• You should expect to invest around 8 hours per week.

  • Approximate hours: Thursday huddle = 3 hrs.

  • Sunday greet, cleanup, & prayer before = 1 hr

  • Assignments = 2-3 hrs, miscellaneous = 1 hr

• The focus of the internship will be on knowing God, identity in Christ, and spiritual formation.

• Please be aware that different assignments will be asked of you from journaling, scripture memorization, reading and reflecting on a Psalm daily, a weekly Marco Polo check-in, etc.
  

DOES IT COST ANYTHING?

• Local IVC members: $100 total for 7 weeks. (Housing/accommodation not provided for locals). There will be some minimal financial costs for books/materials if you choose to purchase your own copies.

• Non-local interns: $150 a week, included with Internship Program (application necessary).
  

WHO CAN BE AN INTERN?

• Though this is mainly geared for those (male or female) between the ages of 18-35 years old and who consider IVC their home church, we would be open to those in other stages of life... if interested please contact us below.
